Why Curatedly Yours

The souvenir the market can't sell you

The Straw Market, Bahama Art & Handicraft and Authentically Bahamian Marketplace all do beautiful traditional work — but they leave a gap: modern, personal, one-of-a-kind keepsakes that literally contain a piece of the islands. That gap is where we live.

Authenticity you can hold — for travellers and locals who'd rather invest in one meaningful piece than a shelf of forgettable trinkets.

Actually made in Nassau

Not imported and re-labelled. Every piece is hand-poured on-island, so your keepsake is genuinely Bahamian — not a warehouse souvenir.

Real island materials inside

We embed hand-collected sand, sea glass and native botanicals into the resin. The market stalls sell straw; we seal the island itself into every piece.

One of one, never a copy

Because resin flows differently every pour, no two pieces are identical. You leave with an original — impossible on a mass-produced rack.

Personal commissions welcome

Add a date, initials, or a pinch of sand from the beach you proposed on. The straw market can't personalize — we build the whole thing around your story.

The Process

From shoreline to keepsake

Every piece passes through our hands four times before it reaches yours.

01

Gather the island

We collect responsibly-sourced sand, sea glass, shells and native flora from around New Providence.

02

Hand-pour the resin

Each mould is poured, tinted and layered by hand — the swirl of blues and corals set slowly overnight.

03

Sand & polish

Every edge is hand-sanded and buffed to a glass-clear finish so the materials inside seem to float.

04

Wrap & send

Your one-of-a-kind piece is packaged with its material story card and shipped worldwide, or picked up in Nassau.

Kind Words

Keepsakes people actually keep

I've bought a dozen souvenirs over the years and forgotten every one. My Curatedly Yours pendant has actual sand from Cable Beach in it — I wear it constantly and everyone asks about it.

As a local, I'm picky about what counts as authentically Bahamian. These coasters are the real thing — handmade here, with our materials. I gift them to every client who visits.

We commissioned matching keychains with our wedding date and a bit of beach sand. It arrived beautifully wrapped with a card explaining what was inside. Genuinely special.

Questions

Good to know

What exactly makes these different from other Nassau souvenirs?

Most souvenirs at the Straw Market and gift shops are imported and mass-produced. Every Curatedly Yours piece is hand-poured on-island and embeds real Bahamian materials — sand, sea glass, native botanicals — so it's a genuine, one-of-a-kind keepsake, not a warehouse product.

Are the pieces really one-of-a-kind?

Yes. Resin flows and cures differently with every pour, and the natural materials we set inside are never identical. Two coasters from the same set will share a style but never be exact copies — you always leave with an original.

Can I personalize a piece or order a custom commission?

Absolutely — personalization is our favourite part. We can embed initials, a date, or even a pinch of sand you bring from a beach that means something to you. Join the waitlist and mention 'custom' and we'll walk you through it.

How much do pieces cost?

Keychains and bookmarks start around $10–18, while our signature jewelry and coaster sets range from roughly $40–80 depending on size and materials. There's a keepsake for every budget.

Do you ship internationally, or is it Nassau pickup only?

Both. Tourists often collect their piece in Nassau before heading home, and we ship worldwide for anyone who wants to order after their trip or send a gift. Shipping details are shared at checkout once we launch online orders.

Are the materials responsibly sourced?

Yes. We hand-collect materials responsibly around New Providence and never take from protected areas or living reef. Part of loving these islands is looking after them.
